We are one! Wir sind 1!

According to the vision in Fill’s guiding principles, the safety of employees and their families is the company’s top priority.

Gurten, March 17, 2020 – Fill Machine Engineering is shutting down until Easter. “Extraordinary situations call for extraordinary measures. The safety of our employees, their families and our customers is the main priority. We take our social responsibility seriously, which is why we have decided to close the company until Easter,” says Andreas Fill, CEO and owner of the company, which has won multiple awards for its employee-friendly practices. This is a purely precautionary measure. “This step is not being taken because of disruptions to supply chains but, rather, to fulfill our responsibilities toward our employees, partners and customers. Under the current circumstances, it is not possible for us to carry on operating as normal,” says Fill. All Fill technicians deployed in Europe are currently being called back, and the customers are being informed accordingly. Where necessary and feasible, individual departments and their staff will work from home.

Communication
The company will remain in close contact with its employees in the coming days and weeks and will keep them regularly updated on the latest developments. This will mainly be done via the internal communication platform CORE smartwork. “CORE gives us an excellent tool for communicating with our employees, especially in times like these,” said Fill.

The philosophy that we live by: We are One! Wir sind 1!
This vision not only expresses the ambition and desire at Fill to hold a leading position in all areas of activity. It also stands for the togetherness with employees, partners, customers, and friends, as well as for cross-border tolerance and acceptance.
