A total of 222 colleagues are celebrating between 10 and 35 years of company service this year. CEO Robert Machtlinger was delighted with their loyalty to the company. “3,040 years of experience – this is a wonderful, unique, incredibly valuable asset for the company, which we greatly appreciate. Many thanks to all the employees who have influenced our shared success story in this very positive way. This loyalty is the finest compliment that can be paid to a company and a valuable affirmation of our strategy,” said a very pleased Robert Machtlinger. Two of the 222 longstanding employees have been working for the company for 35 years. “I enjoy working for FACC, otherwise I wouldn’t have been with the company for 35 years,” chuckled jubilarian Christine Fischer, who works in the clean room of the Aerostructures division. She particularly likes the camaraderie, that famous “FACC spirit”: “I have been here practically from the very beginning and had the privilege to help shape the rise of the company. This success is largely attributable to the team spirit of the crew, which can still be felt today.” Norman Bichler, who works in the production department of the Interiors division, is also celebrating 35 years of company service in 2016: “What I like so much about FACC is the feeling of being part of the success story. Also, it makes me quite proud to be able to say that components I’ve had a hand in can be found on board practically every aircraft in the sky.”

Attractive and successful employer
FACC employs a workforce of more than 3,000 staff in Austria. “The large number of employees celebrating anniversaries is excellent proof of the attractiveness of FACC as an employer that offers people outstanding prospects and recognizes its responsibility to society," says Helmut Andexer, Vice President Human Resources at FACC.
