Decisive edge through cutting-edge technology

More speed, efficiency & precision: Fill presents new standards in aluminum processing at trade fair in Düsseldorf.

The newly developed alu preciser aluminum panel saw is characterized by innovative design and maximum precision to the nearest tenth of a millimeter. With the profile transformer, horizontal forming along practically the ideal bending line becomes reality. At the Aluminium 2018 trade fair in Düsseldorf on October 9–11, Fill Machine Engineering presented the latest solutions in the field of profile technology. As a leading machine builder and systems integrator, the Upper Austrian company supports its customers with cutting-edge technology.

Düsseldorf/Gurten, October 24, 2018 – “For us, innovation means not only reacting to existing challenges but also being one step ahead at all times. Our production and machining systems are constantly being refined, not only enabling our customers to launch their products more quickly but also more efficiently,” says Erwin Altendorfer, Profiling Competence Center Manager. The internationally active machine engineering experts from Upper Austria thereby carve out a real competitive edge for their customers.

Innovation and ergonomics make the difference

The alu preciser sets new standards for aluminum panel saws. The many visitors to Fill’s exhibition booth at Aluminium 2018 had the chance to experience this for themselves. The alu preciser, the result of the partnership between Fill and Briganto, is extremely accurate, working to the nearest tenth of a millimeter. It also scores highly in terms of stability and productivity. With its modern design, the impressive new operator interface is very easy to use. Noteworthy: The animated user interface on the touch screen guides the user intuitively through the program.

Close to the ideal bending line

With the profile transformer, Fill presented a further innovation at Aluminium 2018. The stretch-bending machine enables horizontal forming along practically the ideal bending line with a high level of repeat accuracy. Retooling for other parts is very inexpensive with this process, while contour optimizations are usually possible by modifying the bending parameters. The use of flexible steel cores also enables open profiles to be formed with precision.

The center of interest

The Fill exhibition booth at Aluminium 2018 was once again a very popular meeting point for the aluminum industry. The two new machines being presented by Fill – the alu preciser and the profile transformer – were the main attractions for the international visitors. Thanks to some interesting technical discussions, numerous new contacts, and specific project inquiries, Fill can look to the future with optimism.
