Leading Innviertel company expands management team

Martin Reiter, CSO (Chief Sales Officer), completes the new management team around Andreas Fill.

Fill is setting the course for a successful future. Since 1 November 2020, Martin Reiter has been the managing director responsible for sales (CSO). Together with company proprietor Andreas Fill (CEO), Alois Wiesinger (CTO), and Günter Redhammer (COO), the new management team will concentrate on continued positive development of the internationally successful machine engineering company. The main focus of Martin Reiter’s tasks as CSO lies in strategic development and the organization of structures and procedures in the sales area.

Gurten, 9. November 2020 – „In filling the new post of CSO, we once again opted for an internal solution. In the form of Martin Reiter, we have found the most suitable person for this challenging position,“ explains Andreas Fill. As Managing Director of the Sales division, Martin Reiter is responsible for the company’s strategic orientation and the competence centers. He acts as a link between the competence center managers and brings a greater focus on the commercial aspects. His responsibilities also include ensuring efficient collaboration between sales and engineering as well as optimization of the structural and procedural organization.

From intern to managing director
While studying for a degree in Production and Management at Steyr University of Applied Sciences, Martin Reiter worked for the company for the first time as an intern at Fill in Gurten. In 2004, he started his professional career in the Quality and Process Management department. In 2008, he became Head of the Logistics department. Then, in tandem with work, he studied for a master’s degree in Controlling, Accounting, and Financial Management at Steyr University of Applied Sciences. In 2013, he moved within the company to the newly created Controlling department. There he was substantially involved in such projects as refining strategic processes and establishing the Fill subsidiaries in China and Mexico. On 1 November 2020, Martin Reiter became CSO (Chief Sales Officer) and thereby part of the executive board of the Gurten-based machine engineering company.

Keeping on track for success
„Ever since I joined Fill, the company’s trajectory has almost continuously been upward. The company has constantly been on a growth trajectory. However, we have recently had to fight a headwind on the market with the upheaval in the automotive industry. Then Covid-19 came along in spring and acted as another drag on business. Together with my colleagues from the competence centers, I want to ensure that Fill remains on track for success and that we retain and consolidate our position as an innovative, customer-oriented machine builder,“ says Martin Reiter, outlining the key aspects of his future work.
