Under the banner of „The Fill Time Machine“ , Upper Austrian machine engineering experts Fill demonstrated their latest innovations in metalworking at the world’s leading trade fair for production technology, EMO 2023, in Hannover from September 18 to 23. Extremely promising solutions were presented with the SYNCROMILL machining center series in combination with FILL CYBERNETICS, attracting a great deal of attention from the international trade fair visitors. As a leading machine builder and systems integrator, Fill develops tailor-made solutions along the entire value creation chain.
Hannover/Gurten, September 28, 2023 – „Our Development department tries to be one step ahead at all times. With a great deal of passion and expertise, new solutions are conceived and often implemented in further consequence. Innovation of the highest standard takes place here,“ emphasizes Friedrich Dallinger, Head of the Metal Machining Technology Competence Center at Fill. This also explains the leading role that the Innviertel company has adopted internationally in many areas of modern machine engineering.
Fill exhibition stand a hot spot
Dallinger and his team were delighted with the large number of visitors to the exhibition stand at EMO. Partners, customers, and friends from all over the world gathered here to discover and discuss Fill’s latest innovations in a relaxed atmosphere. „Personal contact is extremely important. An open exchange of opinions is the basis for mutual trust,“ says Dallinger, summing up the numerous conversations. The best of moods also prevailed at the now legendary Fill Stand Party on September 20.
SYNCROMILL a highlight
The main focus of attention was the SYNCROMILL machining center series. With these productive and precise high-tech systems, Fill covers all the steps involved in metalworking. From the SYNCROMILL C22-63/1000 model for structural framework parts, battery housings, and motor components to the SYNCROMILL C21-63/1500, which impresses with compactness, dynamics, and flexibility for large structural framework components and cross-members, through to the SYNCROMILL D22-63/X2000 for large-volume workpieces, such as giga-castings or battery trays. In combination with FILL CYBERNETICS for digital analyses in real time, metalworking is raised to a whole new level.
ACCUBOT and FILL CYBERNETICS
Fill has developed the ACCUBOT NC robot for applications with the most demanding accuracy requirements. Apart from the machining of outlines and tooling of the customizable clamping fixture, the tasks of the ROBOT TRIMMING CELL include geometrical measurement of structural components made of lightweight materials. FILL CYBERNETICS products are a key feature of Fill’s machines and systems. The digital analyses in real time extend from monitoring complex individual operations to seamless component traceability, through to automated system optimization by means of artificial intelligence (AI).
