Fill makes the autumn years golden

Fill Machine Engineering continues to include its employees in the “Fill Family” even in retirement.

With the Golden FillCard, the Upper Austrian high-tech company shows just how much it appreciates its former staff. Holders enjoy benefits at Fill events and stores within the region. The card also allows them to maintain close ties with their former employer. The expertise of long-serving employees is still sought after when they have retired. For example, as so-called “senior guides”, some Fill pensioners take groups of visitors on tours around the company and explain the production processes.

Gurten, May 8th 2018 – “Communication and the best way to share knowledge are issues that accompany us throughout our careers. With the Golden FillCard and the Senior Community on the company’s own CORE communication platform, this now extends even further. These activities strengthen our community spirit and facilitate additional knowledge transfer. That’s something we’re very pleased about,” explains CEO Andreas Fill.

Wir sind 1. We are one.
It has always been a major concern for Fill’s management to maintain good contact with its former employees after they have retired. Activities such as inviting them to the annual Advent party, to anniversaries, and to the regular get-together for retirees, or just sending them the proFill employee magazine, all help the company keep in touch with them. The Golden FillCard now takes one step further toward strengthening ties with former staff. To facilitate optimum information sharing, Fill offers its senior citizens access to the in-house CORE communication tool. This provides them with tailor-made information, community, survey, knowledge, and ideas tools for keeping abreast of the latest developments. They also have the opportunity to play an active role by sharing their expertise in the company’s own Senior Community.
